The mission of the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) is to support, promote and protect the common interests of the franchised new car and truck dealers of Greater Philadelphia by providing services and programs, disseminating information, enhancing dealership image and pooling collective influence for the benefit of its members.
Programs such as the Sales Training Academy and Automotive Technician Programs were designed to bring a new level of professionalism to the retail automobile business through education.
Events such as the Philadelphia International Auto Show and the Black Tie Tailgate Preview Gala, produced solely by the ADAGP, continue to grow, bringing a new, heightened level of informative shopping opportunities and entertainment to their attendees.
In 2003, the ADAGP Board Members formalized their decades of philanthropic activities by incorporating their own charitable foundation, Auto Dealers CARing For Kids Foundation. This quickly developing public charity generously supports The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and other children’s charities in the Greater Philadelphia area.
